Madhya Pradesh RTO – MP Transport Department’s main responsibility is to uphold the regulations established under the MP Vehicles Taxation Act, 1924 (Amended 1993), the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, and the laws made as a consequence of these Acts.
The Transport Commissioner oversees the MP Transportation Division. Transportation Department is in charge of overseeing all Regional Transport Offices, Additional Regional Transport Offices, District Transport Offices & transport checkpoints at state boundaries.
Madhya Pradesh RTO Code List 2024
The MP RTO functions according to the rules of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 that carries out the process of vehicle registration for vehicles running in the state. An individual isn’t granted to drive a motor vehicle in MP unless the vehicle has registered at the MP RTO.
To freely drive a motor vehicle in MP, it is necessary for an individual to receive a vehicle insurance. There’re 2 types of Vehicle Insurance an individual can purchase to insure his vehicle according to the rules of the MVA, 1988.
