Selection of Beneficiaries

• Farming is necessary in the place of boredom. Work will not be done in critical and over-exploited development blocks.
• This point will also be kept in mind regarding boring that about 3 hectares of agricultural land can be irrigated with the proposed pumpset.
• Those development blocks fall in the semi-critical category. He will be selected only through the limits approved by NABARD.
• The distance prescribed by NABARD for a particular district should not be less than the distance between the pump sets.
• The work of boring will be done on the basis of top priority in the Naxal-affected Samagra Gram Vikas Yojana and Samagra Gram Vikas Yojana.
• The villages of Samagra Gram Vikas Yojana and Naxal-affected Samagra Gram Vikas Yojana will be provided with the available funds first.
