Under the Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme, if there is a loss of up to 20% in the production of the farmers’ crop, ₹ 7500 will be provided per hectare and if the loss is more than 20%, then ₹ 10000 will be provided per hectare. Under this scheme, The amount given will be directly transferred to the bank account of the farmer. These Crops will be Compensated Under BFBY 2024

• Wheat and maize have been made Panchayat level in 38 districts of the state. Apart from this, gram, lentils, tur, rye, mustard, cane, onion, and potato have been notified at the district level.
• If there is a loss of gram crop then 17 districts of the state will be compensated, if there is a loss of lentil crop then 35 districts will be compensated,
• If there is a loss of our crop, 22 districts will be compensated, if the cane crop is damaged then 16 districts will be compensated, for rye and mustard crops, all districts of the state will be compensated, onion crop loss If it happens, 14 districts will be compensated and if potato crop is damaged then 15 districts will be compensated.
• Under the Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme, if the loss is less than 20%, then the compensation rate is ₹ 7500 per hectare. Each farmer can take advantage of this scheme for a maximum of 2 hectares. If the loss is more than 20%, it is compensated at the rate of ₹ 10000 per hectare.
