Eligible candidates can submit their application form for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2024 via online mode. The JNV Selection Test will held on April 2024. Eligible students or parents/guardians can fill up the JNVST 2024 Application Form on the official web page navodaya.gov.in till January 2024. The exam is scheduling to organize on April 2024, at 11.30 AM. The result of the JNV Selection Test 2024 is expecting to announce by June 2024.
The candidates must not have born between 1 May 2011 to 30 April 2013 (both dates inclusive). Candidates will acquire admission to only that school for which they appear in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST). And students whose application process is successfully completing will get a registration number & password on their registered phone number.

JNVST Admission Eligibility Details
- Students who are bonafide residents of the district & studying in class V in the academic session 2022-23 in Govt./
Govt. recognized schools in the same district where JNV is functioning & to which they’re looking for admission. - Studied full academic sessions in every class & passed classes III & IV from Govt. / Govt. recognized school and born between 01.05.2011 to 30.04.2013 (Both dates inclusive).
- Candidates who have not promoted and admitted to Class-V before 31st July 2022 are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates can’t apply for JNVST for the 2nd time in any circumstances.
- If any candidate is applying for JNVST under Rural Quota, then he or she must have studied and passed the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Classes from a recognized school situated in their rural area.
- Aspirants passing the ‘B’ certificate competency course of the National Institute of Open Schooling on or before 15th September 15 2022 can as well apply for JNV Selection Test 2024.

JNVST Admission 2024 Selection Process
- The selection of aspirants for Class VI & IX is prepared on the basis of marks secured in the Entrance Test.
- Class XI Admission Selection is completed by lateral entry. The merit list is to prepare on the basis of 10th-class marks secured by the student.
- Class 9 Lateral Entry: Based on performance in written test / selection test.

Seats Reservation Criteria For Rural, SC/ST, Girls, Disabled Child
- 75% of the seats are reserving for within districts students shortlisted from rural regions and the remaining seats are reserved for urban regions students of the district.
- Seats Reservation for SC/ST students in proportion to their population in the district, but not less than the national average.
- For Girls candidates: 1/3 of the seats are reserving for girls candidates.
- 03% of seats are as well reserved for disabled Children i.e. Hearing Impaired, Orthopedically Handicapped & Visually Handicapped candidates.
