V (BTS) Biography Wiki – Kim Tae-hyung as well popular professionally as V (Korean: 뷔), is a South Korean singer & a member of the boy band BTS.
Outside of his projects with BTS, V appeared in the 2016 tv series Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth & contributed the single “It’s Definitely You” to its soundtrack. He launched his 1st independent song, the self-composed “Scenery”, in 2019. In 2023, V made his official debut as a solo performer with the launch of the singles “Love Me Again” & “Rainy Days”. His debut solo album Layover is slated for September 8, accompanied by a 3rd single, “Slow Dancing”.

V was born Kim Tae-hyung on December 30, 1995, in the Seo District of Daegu & brought up in Geochang nation. He is the eldest of 3 children, with a younger brother & sister. V 1st aspired to be a professional singer in elementary school. With his father’s support, he started taking saxophone lessons in early middle school as a means of pursuing a musical career. V finally became a trainee for Big Hit Entertainment after passing an audition in Daegu.
After graduating from Korean Arts High School in 2014, V enrolled in Global Cyber University, graduating in August 2020 with a major in Broadcasting and Entertainment. As of 2021, he is enrolled at Hanyang Cyber University, pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Advertising & Media.

Kim Teahyung Career
V began his career pursuing his schooling. In the middle of his schooling, he expired to play saxophone & he started to learn how to play the saxophone. On June 13, 2013, he made his 1st debut as a member of BTS on men’s M Countdown with the track of No more drama after that he began his career officially. V started composition, writing lyrics, co-produced songs, and more.
In 2016 he plays a supporting role in a Korean drama “the part warrior youth” and V realized his 1st solo track” Scenery” outside of BTS on January 30, 2019. It brocks Soundcloud record by receiving 100 million streams from 20 million in over 14 days. Now he has become a member of the most famous and hit group BTS.
