Eligibility Criteria Of UPTET 2024

Primary Level – for becoming a teacher of classes 1^st to 5th

• A bachelor’s degree with at least 50% (45% for candidates from the reserved categories) in addition to a two-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed) that has been recognized by NCTE or RCI.
• A bachelor’s degree with two years of UGC-recognized BTC, C.T. (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT).
• A graduation degree with quality in special BTC training.
• BTC Urdu special training in Uttar Pradesh and a bachelor’s degree.
• Individuals with a Bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed.) with a four-year program may also apply.

Elementary Level – For becoming a Teacher of Classes 6^th to 8^th

• A B.T.C with honors from a university accredited by the UGC and NCTE.
• At least 50% on a bachelor’s degree and a B.Ed or B.Ed (Special education from the rehabilitation council of India).
• A.B.E.d, B.Sc, or B.El.Ed is all four-year degree programs that require a minimum of 50% in the 10 + 2 exam.
• A B.Ed and graduation in any field with at least 45% of the required marks.
