  2. Applicants are providing a total of 60 minutes to solve the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Tier-I paper consist of 100 questions that count to a entire of 200 marks (2 marks every question).
  3. For every incorrect answer, applicants are penalizing with 1/2 marks in the Tier-1 exam.

SSC CHSL Syllabus: Tier II (Revised)

Staff Selection Commission has revised Staff Selection Commission CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern & issued new course which has full beneath-

Tier-II will comprise following 3 sections having 2 modules each:

Section-1: Module-I: Mathematical Abilities & Module-II: Reasoning & General Intelligence.

Section-2: Module-I: English Language & Comprehension & Module-II: General Awareness

Section-3: Module-I: Computer Knowledge Test & Module-II: Skill Test/ Typing Test

Tier-2 will conduct in 2 sessions – Session- 1 and Session-2, on same day. Session-I will comprise managing of Section-1, Section-2 & Module-1 of Section-3. Session-2 will comprise conducting of Module-2 of Section-3. Tier-2 will embody of Objective Type, MCQ, excluding for Module-2 of Section 3. The questions will be set in English &  Hindi excluding for Module-2 (i.e. English Language &  Comprehension module) in Section 2.

There will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-1, Section-2 and Module-I of Section-3.

Skill test for the post of Data Entry Operator

In this test, an applicant should have a data entry speed of eight thousand Key Depressions/hour. The duration of the Test is 15 minutes & an English document having approximate 2000-2200 strokes/key-depressions is providing to type.
