Namo Shetkari Yojana – The Maharashtra government has recently outlined a program called the Namo Shetkari Yojana (NSMN) aimed at providing financial help to farmers in the state. Eligible farmers will get Rs 6,000 each from the central & state governments, for a total of Rs 12,000 annually.
This program is similar to the central government’s PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana but with an additional contribution from the Maharashtra government. The 1st installment of the NSMN is expected to distribute in the 3rd week of October 2023. This financial help will help farmers’ financial burden & make agriculture more sustainable in Maharashtra.

So, you all know, the 14th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has provided to the farmers in the month of July 2023. Now the GOI is preparing to issue the 15th installment. As per the report, the 15th installment can deposited in the accounts of farmers shortly. According to latest update, the 1st installment of Namo Shetkari Samman Yojana will as well be deposited in the accounts of farmers together with the 15th installment, although the Maharashtra government hasn’t provided any official detail about the issue of the 1st installment of Namo Shetkari Samman Yojana.

Namo Shetkari Yojana 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for the Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana, the candidate must a resident of Maharashtra & a farmer.
- Only farmers who own land in the state are eligible for this scheme.
- Also, the candidate farmer must registered with the Agriculture Department of Maharashtra.
- Having a bank account linked to an Aadhaar card is compulsory for candidates.

Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana 2023 Benefits
- Under this scheme all the small landholding farmers of the state will provide Rs.6000 per annum.
- Under the Namo Shetkari Samman Yojana 2023 scheme, the amount will deposited in the accounts of higher 85 lakh farmers in Maharashtra state.
- The state government will deposit funds directly into the farmers’ accounts.
- Direct transfer will be done on the account. For this, it is compulsory to have KYC of farmers’ bank account.

Namo Shetkari Samman Yojana New Registration Process 2023
- Visit the official website of Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana.
- After visiting the web page, choose the option “Rural Farmer Registration”.
- Then fill your Aadhaar number and it is necessary to link your mobile number with your Aadhaar card.
- After choosing your state, enter OTP on your mobile number & proceed further.
- Next, a form will open in which you have to choose district, taluka, village.
- After this you have to fill “Land Registration ID”.
- Ration card number is as well required to be filled in the form. After this, you’ve to fill all the information about your land – account number, area etc.
- Now click on the option of submitting the Namo Shetkari Samman Yojana New Registration form.
