The updated GLE is available in one petrol variant – 450 – and 2 diesel options – 300d & 450d. In terms of power, the 4-cylinder 300d generates 265bhp & 550Nm of torque, while the 6-cylinder 450d produces 362bhp and 750Nm of torque. The 6-cylinder petrol version, on the other hand, delivers 376bhp and 500Nm of torque. Ride comfort is enjoyable for all models, although the GLE 300d lacks the added luxury shared by the air suspension found in the 400d & 450 models; instead, it sits on steel springs & smaller 19-inch wheels.
