Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine 2024 – Mercedes-Benz is going to release a product offensive in India this year to enhance its market share. The German luxury carmaker will release 15 vehicles this year, like AMG GT Black Series & the new generation GLA. However, the company will kickstart the product onslaught with A-Class Limousine which is expecting to launch this month. Now, Mercedes-Benz has not launched A-Class’ launch date but is planning an event for the sedan between 23 and 24 February. We believe the company could launch the A-Class Limousine on one of these days while the other one could reserved for journalists to experience the sedan. While we saw the Mercedes-Benz A-Class limousine previous year at the expo, the launch was inevitably delayed. The 3-pointed star brand is now ready to release the car on March 25. The car will roll out from Mercedes-Benz’ Chakan plant in Pune. This will the most affordable Mercedes that you can purchase in India.
This car as well borrows design cues from the A-Class hatch (might not be coming to India) but then the body is that of a sedan. The sedan is equipped with the same 1.3-litre, turbocharged petrol engine & a 7-speed DCT gearbox. This engine configuration generates 161bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. The A-Class comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that incorporates the latest MBUX system, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. It as well includes Mercedes Me connected car technology, a digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control & electronically adjustable front seats.

The A-Class has updated with a 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine that produces 163PS & 270Nm, also as a 2-liter diesel engine that generates 150PS & 320Nm. The petrol engine is duo with a 7-speed DCT, while the diesel engine comes with an 8-speed DCT. In terms of features, the Mercedes A-Class is equipped with dual 10.25-inch displays for the touchscreen system & digital driver’s display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, USB fast charging, dual-zone climate control, powered front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
Exterior
The front of the vehicle is accentuating by the sloping bonnet & a pointed nose. Also, it features a redesigned front grille adorned with the Mercedes star pattern. The sedan’s athletic nature is as well emphasized with the inclusion of new 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels. Moving towards the rear, the sedan showcases an updated LED tail light accompanied by a modified bumper.
Interior
The A-Class facelift cabin is equipped with a dual-screen setup, both measuring 10.25 inches. One screen is dedicating to the instrument cluster while the other serves as the touchscreen infotainment unit. The latter is powered by the latest MBUX software and gives wireless connectivity for Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. The steering wheel has updated and now includes touch capacitive controls for various functions.
