Khatushyamji Temple

Shyam Kund

It’s the sacred pond near the shrine from which the Sheesh (Head) was get back. It’s faith that a dip in this pond cures a person from ailments & brings good health. Devotees come at Falgun Mela from different locations here & presume holy after taking bath. People take water from here which they utilize to discard many illness.

Shyam Bagicha

A blessed garden near the temple from where the flowers are picking to give to the god. The great pilgrim Lt. Alu Singhji’s Samadhi is as well in the site.

Gourishankar Temple

This is a Shiva shrine which is near Khatushyamji’s shrine. There is a myth that the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb’s soldiers wanted to demolish this shrine & attacked the Shiva Linga with a spear. Fountains of blood appeared from the Shiva Ling & the soldiers ran away, terrified. One can still see the celebrate of the spear on the Linga.
