Jagannath Vidya Deevena Scheme Eligibility Criteria
- Students must be residents and native citizens of Andhra Pradesh.
- Students who are pursuing their program/course in Government Aided Private Colleges Board and Day Scholar Student and Hostel are eligible for this scheme, but the college must be affiliated with State Universities/Boards.
- The family income should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh per annum.
- Students who are pursuing degree courses through distance education are not eligible for this scheme.
- If students are studying at Deemed University then they are not eligible for this scheme.
- Students are not eligible for Jagannath Vidya Deevena Yojana 2025 if a student’s family member is employed in the government sector and is paying tax or is a person receiving pension benefits.
- If any student got admission to his college under the management quota then he will not be eligible for the scheme.
- The Social Welfare Department will develop a system of certification for sanitation workers to claim the benefits of the scheme.
- Children of a Safai Karamchari, irrespective of their salary and type of recruitment, are eligible for the scheme.
- The student’s home should be less than 1500 square feet in the city to be eligible for the scheme.
- If someone in the student’s family is paying property tax then they are also not eligible for this scheme.
- Those who have 10 acres of wetland and 25 acres of dry land are also eligible for the scheme.
