आज का चौघड़िया की गणना कैसे की जाती है?
आज का चौघड़िया मुहूर्त की गणना दिन और रात को आठ समान भागों में विभाजित करके की जाती है। चूंकि चौघड़िया सात हैं, अतः प्रत्येक छह चौघड़िया दिन में एक बार होता है, जबकि एक चौघड़िया 2 बार आता है। चौघड़िया का प्रत्येक भाग या समय अवधि लगभग चार घड़ी के बराबर है।
सप्ताह के प्रत्येक दिन, दिन और रात के समय के चौघड़िया का क्रम बदलता रहता है लेकिन उस विशिष्ट दिन के लिए समान रहता है। उदाहरण के लिए, सोमवार के लिए चौघड़िया का क्रम मंगलवार से अलग होगा और मंगलवार का क्रम बुधवार के अनुक्रम से अलग होगा। लेकिन प्रत्येक सोमवार, प्रत्येक मंगलवार और अन्य आगामी सप्ताह के दिनों का अनुक्रम समान होगा।
