Exam Date of HPSC HCS Recruitment 2024
The HPSC has uploaded a notice on its official site. The notice publish that for the post of HCS (Ex, Br.) and other Allied Services – 2024, the preliminary examination will be conducted on 21 May, 2024.

HPSC HCS Selection Process
For aspirants to obtain shortlisted for this post is not a piece of cake as there’re 3 levels required for them to clear it. If the applicants isn’t able to clear even one, he/she’ll be rejected. The 3 levels are beneath.
Preliminary exams- This exam is the 1st step to selecting aspirants on the basis of the marks they’ve scored in it. The scores will not be counted towards the final selection.

Mains exams- Mains written exam comprises 4 papers. The medium of the exam is Hindi and English.
Viva- Voice/ Personality test – No applicant will be shortlisted for it till & unless they score 45% in the written exams. This test carries a weightage of 75 marks.
HPSC HCS Exam Pattern
a) Preliminary exam
- Both papers are Objective type.
- For each wrong answer, -1/4 mark will be deducted.
- The medium exam is Hindi and English.
- To qualify paper- II you need at least of 33%.
- The exam is for 200 marks.

b) Mains exam
