NEET Exam Pattern 2024 –The National Testing Agency will publish the exam pattern for NEET 2024 on their official site. This exam pattern will be published together with the detail booklet. Marks Distribution
- 4 marks will be added to the overall score for each right answer.
- One mark will be remove for each incorrect answer.
- If a question is left unanswered, no marks will be remove or awarded according to the NEET exam pattern.
- No changes or modifications are allowed in the NEET OMR sheet.
- Suppose any question is found to be wrong, or any question is dropped; in that case, 4 marks will be awarded to all the aspirants irrespective of whether the question has been attempted or not by a applicant.

Marking Scheme
- Every question contains 4 marks
- A right answer fetches 4 marks for every question
- 1 mark is removing for each wring answer
- If, after the procedure of challenging a key, higher one option is found to right, then any/all one of the multiple right options which are marked will be awarded 4 marks
- No marks are giving if questions are left unanswered or unattempt
- If all options are found to right, then 4 marks will give to all those who have attempted the question
- If none of the options is found right or if a question is found to be incorrect or is dropped, then all aspirants who have appeared will give 4 marks anyway of the fact whether the question has attempted or not attempted by the aspirant.

Total Marks of NEET – NEET total marks 2024
A new alter in the pattern of NEET is the introduction of sections A & B.
Section A
For every section – Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany – 35 questions are asked under Section A. Aspirants must answer all these questions, there is no option of selection in this section. Negative marking exists in both sections A & B. The highest marks that can score in this section are 35*4=140 marks.
Section B
Aspirants can attempt any 10 questions out of the 15 questions shared. In the event that a aspirant has attempted higher 10 questions, only the 1st 10 questions that are attempting will rate. The highest marks that can score in this section are 10*4=40 marks.
So, totally 140 + 40 = 180 marks can score in every of the sections – Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Zoology. Physics & Chemistry section, every are asking for 180 marks while Biology section is asked for 360 marks.
