Lawrence Bishnoi was born on 12 February 1993 in a village in Ferozpur, Punjab. His father was a police constable for the Haryana Police. He left the police force in 1997 & became a farmer. Bishnoi studied in Abohar until the 12th grade in 2010 when he shifted to Chandigarh to DAV College. They became involved in university politics & started committing crimes. He completed his LLB from Panjab University.

During his college years, Lawrence Bishnoi formed a club whooped Sopu & contested for the position of President in the student organization. But, he lost the election to Uday Sah & a confrontation between them ensued, resulting in Lawrence Bishnoi firing a shot. On February 11, 2011, Lawrence Bishnoi was expelled from Uday Sah’s group for the 1st time, leading to the filing of a case opposed to him.
