Types of Ration Card Distribute by Bihar Government

• BPL Ration Card– BPL Ration Cards are issued to those families who are living below the poverty line and whose family income is less than Rs.24000/- per annum. The color of the BPL card is red.
• APL Ration Card– APL Ration Cards are issued to families above the poverty line and whose annual family income is less than Rs 24000 per year. APL card is blue in color.
• AAY Ration Card– Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) ration cards are for the poorest of the poor. Ration cards are yellow in color.
• Annapurna Ration Card– These ration cards are issued to old-age pensioners of the state.

• In Bihar New Ration Card Scheme, you have to fill out the offline form to get the card made. For this, you have to take the application form from any of your nearest regional offices / S.D.O.
• Fill in all your details carefully by filling out the application form. Get it attested by attaching a passport-size photograph.

• Select the option of RCMS on the home page.
