On 16 June 2024, Andhra Pradesh State Finance Minister B Rajendranath Reddy presented the budget for the upcoming fiscal year in the state assembly held at Velagapudi. In this budget, the state government has allocated Rs 22,604 crore to the education sector out of Rs 2,24,789.18 crore.
